    Hiking the Essex Way for Essex Women

    Free event in committee rooms 2 and 3, Thurrock Council, Civic Offices, New Road, Grays, RM17 6SL. A chance to chat directly with local services and organisations that are supporting women to take positive action for change. Hot and cold drinks available all day and a light cold lunch buffet between available between midday and 1pm.     Business Seminar: "Empowering Women."

    If you are a woman who wants to get ahead in business, this seminar is for you! Entry is free but places are limited, so make sure you book in advance through Eventbrite . When attending the seminar, please show your support for International Women's Day by wearing a purple item.

    Walk and Talk

    Starts at 2pm, expecting to return around 3:30pm
    Meet at 2pm outside the entrance of Civic Offices, New Road, Grays, RM17 6SL. Get energised and make new connections on the go. The walk encourages conversations and offers opportunities to talk with those who provide services supporting women to make a difference. The walk follows a route of about a mile and a half around Grays, taking in the riverside and ending back at Civic Offices for tea and cakes.
